To make way for the new building, an abandoned incinerator building was demolished, along with a sand storage unit. A new concrete mansonry sand and salt storage unit was also contructed nearby as part of this project.

The new building is of steel-framed construction, resting on spread concrete footings, and occupying about 6,000 sq ft.

The third floor addition is a steel-framed structure built atop the existing concrete structure.

The new building (#27) features a steel framed construction, and rests on conventional spread footings.

New steel framed canopies were also constructed to connect to adjacent buildings.

The hospital addition is a 3 story building with a full basement, partially buried into a sloping grade. The southeast corner of the basement opens out to a lowered slab elevation, while the remainder of the basement perimeter walls retain soil. The southeast corner also features a canopy at the main entrance.

The project also included the design of a concrete heli-pad.
